If like me you work with stuipidly/long/branch/names/abcdef/abcdef switching between branches can take up most of your day (slight exaggeration).

Thankfully there's a neat little command you can run to switch to the previous branch you had checked out:

Ckeck it out! - (see what i did there?)

git checkout -

Therefore if you are working on:

11:43:14 ~/Code/test-code [stuipidly/long/branch/names/abcdef/abcdef ≡]$

And want to switch back to the previous branch, in this case master, just type:

git checkout -

And voila!

11:44:36 ~/Code/test-code [master ≡]$

Neat huh?
